The Rabanne X H&M Lookbook Is Here — and It’s Full of Holiday-Party Inspo

Where better to announce H&M’s next designer collaboration than during Paris Fashion Week at the legendary Silencio nightclub? The mass retailer shared news of its partnership with Rabanne, a fashion house famous for its opulent party clothes since 1966. The collab, which hits stores and online on Nov. 9, will feature holiday-ready womenswear, menswear, accessories, and home decor — marking Rabanne’s first foray into furniture. And the Rabanne X H&M lookbook is finally here.

The aesthetic? Laid-back luxury that’s playful as ever, with signature gleaming discs, metallic accents, and paillettes. These are, after all, the details we’ve come to expect from Rabanne’s ’70s-inspired pieces, which oftentimes feel ironically futuristic. From silver sequined dresses to gold collared shirts, evening clutches with fringe embellishments to even sharp-shouldered tracksuits, this collection caters to shoppers who crave the spotlight.

To celebrate the announcement, the H&M team and Rabanne Creative Director Julien Dossena hosted the likes of Ashley Graham, Irina Shayk, Cher, and Elle Fanning at a soirée, where they were all decked out in the coming collection. Supermodel Graham, 35, wore a Rabanne x H&M leopard midi dress, completing her outfit with leather mules and large silver hoops. Meanwhile, Fanning selected a silver sequined sheath; Shayk chose triangle statement earrings and a paillette disc minidress; Cher performed in an embellished cropped matador jacket styled over a beaded top; and Damson Idris posed in a gold polo shirt with disco flair.

The global collection will aim to offer Rabanne at a more accessible price range without compromising quality. Rabanne x H&M will launch in selected stores and on hm.com on Nov. 9, with the Home line available at selected H&M Home stores and on hm.com in selected markets.
